1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Rear Speaker Install Brackets
These aluminum brackets allow you to install 6.75" speakers in 1982-92 Camaros & Firebirds rear speaker openings (coupes only, won't fit convertibles). If your car didn't come with speakers from the factory the openings were covered, these brackets are thicker & lighter than what GM used. You will need to remove the plastic trim to install them, these are not adapters so much bigger than the speaker opening that is accessible by removing the cloth covers. These aluminum adapters have a satin black powder coated finish with 5.6" diameter opening. They work well with 4th gen speakers, or you can cut them to install larger speakers. Since they are stronger than stock, they also work well if your installing heavier rear speakers.Ā
